She’s here and she’s fiercely beautiful. The new Hunt 72 landed in the port of NY/NJ, was unceremoniously dropped over the side of her mother ship and was ready to run south without hesitation. On a gorgeous summer day, J Sea IV fairly flew down the Sound reaching a blistering 34 knots with a delighted new owner at the helm.
Since then, the Hunt 72 has graced the docks of Hinckley Portsmouth while workers installed helm seats, the life raft, lashed the dinghy down, calibrated the electronics, mounted the handpainted life rings and inspected the fire extinquishers. Mattresses have been carried down the docks and cups have been placed in their galley holders. She’s nearly ready for the adventures her owner has planned but first, a photo shoot: This Hunt is ready for her close up. We will launch a helicopter and put professional models on deck.
Want to see the final photos? Let us know and we will send you the rushes late this month!
