The US military dispatched 10 of its SeaARK Dauntless 34 pilot boats to Ukraine, helping to bolster the country’s naval presence in the war with Russia. A few of these high-speed patrol boats are now part of Ukraine’s first river fleet division on the Dnipro River. The boats are a Ray Hunt design with a Hunt Deep-V variable deadrise hull. The aluminum boat is one of the Navy Small Boats Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Boats. It reaches maximum speeds of 40 knots and is valued by Ukrainian military operators for its maneuverability. Essentially the same design as Hunt Yachts, but with grenade launchers.
