Hunt Yachts by DiMillo’s builds luxury performance cruising yachts engineered with the legendary Hunt Deep-V hull. Every Hunt Yacht traces its lineage to 1960, when C. Raymond Hunt’s prototype Moppie won the Miami-Nassau Race in punishing seas and rewrote the rules of powerboat design. Sixty-plus years later, that proven Deep-V geometry is refined continuously by Ray Hunt Design, and makes it easy to see how a Hunt cuts through head seas that slow down other yachts. Simply put, it’s exhilarating to drive, with a soft entry, predictable tracking, and confident, dry running at a fast cruise.
The current Hunt Ocean lineup ranges from 56 to 76 feet. Each semi-custom model is hand-laid in composite and finished to the owner’s specifications. Because Hunt Yachts are built with the guidance and direct involvement of Ray Hunt Design and the experienced team at DiMillo’s Yacht Sales, every build is carefully balanced for long-range offshore cruising and each owner’s specifications.
The Hunt 56 is the newest addition to the Ocean Series range, available in Flybridge Sedan and Sedan versions. It’s a true dual-purpose yacht: open, social, and quick under power for a day on the water, while two private staterooms and a lower lounge with galley make for comfortable extended cruises.
